Years ago, all I waited for every year before they had Wonderland was the Exhibition. I was about 7 and got sick while the Ex was on and was not well enough to go.
My sister and brother felt so guilty they brought me back all kinds of presents and neat stuff.

Before I post my worst summer memory, I must admit, I do hate it whenever you get sick last minute. I hope you enjoyed those presents and gifts they brought you.
ReplyDeleteMy worst summer memory happened when I was also 7. It was my birthday party coming up and I was very excited. I was going to have the party at Chuck-E-Cheese and invited nearly my entire Grade 1 class. The day before however, I received stomach flu, and so did my dad, from something my mother made. Too late to cancel the party, everyone came except me. They all had a fun day at Chuck-E-Cheese while I was in bed, laying my stomach to some rest.
I slipped on a banana peel, fell into he water, banged my head against a rock, and started drowning. I had a concussion, multiple lacerations, and was bleeding o death.
