Fireworks and Summer Day Trips

Yesterday, I was watching the Fireworks from the United States for their Fourth of July.
I cannot go to the Fireworks because my older dog, Leo is afraid of the noise. He cannot be left home alone. They are one of my favourite memories so it was exciting to see all the different fireworks and music on t.v.

What is your favourite thing to do in Markham during the summer?

  1. My fave thing would be to go out and play soccer or do some very physical activity then going back home and having really cold water. Markham was a great place to run around.

  2. Soccer sounds great but it has been so hot, this summer.

  3. My favourite thing this summer is to go out and play basketball.
In my neighborhood, not many of my friends live near. But we can occasionally make up a meeting time where we can all together again.

Afterwards, we each enjoy a refreshing slushie at the nearby convenience store.

  4. I absolutely enjoy walking on Main Street Unionville during the summer. It's such a quaint, quiet and small community hidden amongst the suburbs to the north and east while bordered by the rush of business to the south and west. I always fancy a mint chip ice cream cone and a sweet and refreshing caffeinated drink from Starbucks and Timothy's. I agree with DK and MPLTS though; Markham is a great place to run! Fresh air and plentiful grass! Perhaps it can be said that the grass does grow greener ... north of Steeles Avenue! I enjoy visiting the library as well, for the air conditioning... and books :)

  5. Cool Bro and Michael,

I think the most important thing to do is to get out. We are all stuck in the house so much during the winter, we should take advantage of this great weather.
