We have all kinds of graphic novels. I read one recently called, "Tyranny" about a girl's perception of her eating disorder. Is there a graphic or series out there, we should order for the library?

I love the series, The Boondocks designed by Aaron McGruder. It's a satirical look at the world, a total flip view on American politics and stereotypes. The eponymous show is just as successful and popular. I think it would be a wonderful addition to the teenage audience at the Markham Public Library.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Tyranny but it sounds interesting. Currently, I'm reading the Essex County (trilogy) and it references Canadians, hockey and farm life which I find hilarious. In terms of new titles, anything by Mariko Tamaki is great. I bought and thoroughly enjoyed Skim and Emiko Superstar.
