Old and New Movies

On the weekend, my son had some of his friends over. They went through the dvds and came across Batman with Christian Bale. Even though, it was an old movie they still enjoyed the experience.
Do you have a movie you could watch again and again?

Is there a new movie that will be your summer classic?

  1. I could always watch the Home Alone movies over and over again, there are always moments I look for and I could never stop laughing even though I've seen them so many times. It's a great series, and the first Home Alone movie was the best though.

Definitely a summer classic (because it makes you think of winter).

  2. Home Alone is one of my favourites. I agree the first one was the best and the others slowly went down hill.

I still had a hard time how could a kid get left behind? The worst we ever did was to forget to close and lock our front door but the kids were in the car.

DK Did you ever watch Christmas Vacation? I love that movie with Steve Martin.

  3. I can never stop watching the Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets movie.
Even though it's not that strong of a movie and the special effects aren't that nice, I still marvel at the huge snake they have and love seeing how Harry kills it.
It's also funny to watch the relationships with the characters knowing how they all end up. I'm refering to Harry and Ginny, Hermoine and Ron, and of course, Tom Riddle's diary and Voldemort.

Of course, whenever I finish watching the movie, I feel like I should walk outside in the summer and kill a giant snake myself.

As I'm just 14, I probably don't know many of the old movies, but after some experiences, I never get tired of watching movies like 101 Dalmations, the Back to the Future trilogy, and the Rush Hour trilogy.

    Nothing spikes me like comedy!

  5. Hi,

    Cool Bro and Nick -

I like all your choices. They are great.

I too like comedy. Harry is not my favourite I must admit.
